This was my first for this author and i really enjoyed it. i wasnt sure at first reading the description if i would like but Wow! i do sometime hate reading in 1st person because i want to get in the other main character's head.i was sucked in from the start because Sophia had some serious issues with her one night stands. The meeting with Cove who really sweet. i love them together. they are what the other needs. I'm so glad all the books are out and i can just start the next one because this one ended with a Bang!!

I love a dark erotic thriller and this is definitely quite dark, perhaps even a little icky somewhere along the line. It's definitely enjoyable but there are many other of these kind of books out there at the moment that are quite a lot better. (I have also read the next in series, left me feeling about the same). The characterisations are good but for me the writing wasn't that strong and there were too many moments of suspend disbelief where the characters seemed to act out of character or outside of what's vaguely realistic.
I like the sweetness of the love between Cove and Sophie and to my mind that saved the book but it didn't have the compulsion and intensity that would lift it above a little better than average. Something of a pastiche IMO.
A must read! It's a trilogy, I hope you read them all. It's quite a story.
This book was crazy from the beginning but I liked it still. I think it's just one of those books people will either hate or love. I loved it.. Main female character is so flawed I felt like it could be a real story with how sick the world is.. Just crazy enough to happen..
I was really into this book but then it turned really dark. Don't get me wrong, it's well written and steamy. The characters are well developed and multi-layered. The book itself is full of surprises. It just gets too dark for my tastes. I found myself really disturbed at the direction the book took. It is a erotic thriller after all, but it just went to far into the dark underbelly of some of it's subject matter (don't want to provide any spoilers). And I just wish it could have been done as a single book. If it was a single book I would have finished it no matter how disturbing having gotten this far but as a trilogy, I simply can not justify buying the rest of the series.
Love this book. I wasn't too sure at first but love the story line. It's not just a domniet with a submissive. It's just so much more.. I finish the first book in a week. I just got part 2 on Monday and it's Thursday and am already read 80% of the book. Can't wait to get part 3...
I didn't like it. To much abuse. It really made mead in some parts.

I couldn't put them down ! Read all 4 books in 1 MONTH !!! I've never done that before. This is such an underrated series!! I don't know why there isn't as much public media buzz bout these books like there was around 50 shades . The 50 shades trilogy was very good ( book wise) but THESE ....... were amazing !!!!! Non stop rollercoaster. Very edgy, daring. Aven Jayce " goes there"
